Shelf Life: 3 years.

Product Description and How To Use:Aroma Magic Carrot Sunscreen Lotion SPF 15 Review

Ingredients:Aroma Magic Carrot Sunscreen Lotion SPF 15 Ingredients

My Experience with Aroma Magic Carrot Sunscreen Lotion SPF 15:

I have tried two sunscreens from the new mineral line of Aroma Magic, one is the cucumber sunscreen which I have already reviewed Here and the other one is this which comes in a cute red tube with some fun prints on it like the umbrella, a girl on the beach, ball, sun etc, which gives a very summery beachy look to the packaging.

Aroma Magic Carrot Sunscreen Lotion SPF 15 ReviewThe consistency is neither thick nor runny but if you keep it in a hot place, it will easily get melt and turn into a flowy sunscreen where you will feel it as a lotion while shaking it! The fragrance is very natural, it smells like vegetables, which vegetable, can’t really make out, not carrot though!

I started using this sunscreen after I got married and oh man I must tell you, this was one of the culprits which have been breaking me out. I got like 5-6 pimples on my face *sob* it’s too hard for me to face anyone *cry* immediately after 3-4 days of getting married, first I thought it was people’s (buri nazar) who used to stare at me like hell and say that your bahu looks like a doll (seriously 5-6 aunties said this same thing to my MIL) not lying, I swear on God! Inside I used to feel happy and I thought maybe it was due to those aunties’ buri nazar that I’m getting pimples as I get pimples very soon if someone admire me or like me a lot by staring at me. Sachi, this happens with me everytime I look beautiful which unfortunately happens rarely!

Aroma Magic Carrot Sunscreen Lotion SPF 15 ReviewI realized it later that this sunscreen was breaking me out when I gave this to my hero for using it before going out in the sun and he got 3-4 white bumps and he was like- damn, this is what is breaking you out as I got white bumps in just 2 days of using it. Stop using it immediately and throw it in the dustbin then again I had to make him understand that baby I have to review it and for reviewing it I need to have the tube with me even though it’s breaking me out. :reallyangry:

Aroma Magic Carrot Sunscreen Lotion SPF 15 ReviewThough it broke me out initially still I went on and used it for continuous 25-30 days and later it didn’t break me out as bad as it broke me out initially but the thing is that it makes my face look so dull and oily and also makes me sweat due to which I hesitate using it now so I really don’t think it’s a good option to invest in this summers. It may be a good one for winters as it’s for dry skin and because of the low SPF which is just not enough for the summers. It takes around 2-3 minutes to absorb fully after which I can see visible dullness on my face :/ It would be a good option for hands and feet and this is how I will end up using it- on my feet and hands as this way I can atleast use it and not throw it in the dustbin (in my hero’s words).Aroma Magic Carrot Sunscreen Lotion SPF 15 Review

Swatches:

Aroma Magic Carrot Sunscreen Lotion SPF 15 SwatchesPros of Aroma Magic Carrot Sunscreen Lotion SPF 15:

  • Inexpensive.
  • Easily available.
  • Nice cute, travel friendly packaging.
  • All natural ingredients.
  • Free of chemicals, paraben, artificial fragrance, alcohol and oxybenzone but couldn’t make out till now what actually in it broke me out.

Cons of Aroma Magic Carrot Sunscreen Lotion SPF 15:

  • SPF 15 is not enough for summers.
  • Makes skin oily.
  • Makes skin look dull.
  • Broke me out badly!
  • Makes me sweat in the sun.

BML Rating: 1.5/5

If you want to try out this version, do give it a shot in winters as it’s meant for dry skin and comes with lower SPF which is just not enough for summers and would be okay for the winters. All in all, I didn’t have a good experience with this sunscreen but I neither stop you from trying it out as we all have different skin types and we all are allergic to different ingredients so it may not be that if this sunscreen broke me out, it will also break you out! After all, it’s your decision, your skin and your way of deciding what products you use and don’t use on your skin, I’m just a beauty blogger guiding you on good and bad products! Jyada ho gaya kya? :P

      hehe :P buri nazar :P
if you stay indoors, spf lever should be 20 or 30 and if you spend your day out most of the time then it should be spf 30 or higher! thank you for the doll compliment :-*

awww that is so disappointing. i was actually tempted to buy it seeing the impressive ingredient list and the fancy packaging. then i felt i should wait for your review before investing on anything. you are so honest and sweet in your reviews.
