Avon Face and Eye Makeup Remover Review

Hi Prettiest,

I can never go to bed with my makeup on, like never 8-) no matter how tired or late I am. Makeup removing is a must for me as I don’t want any allergic reaction or breakouts from sleeping on with makeup. I have tried different ways of removing makeup like oil cleansing method which just works great, face wipes, baby oil, vaseline, etc. Let’s just move on to today’s review and not talk about makeup removing methods. This is the first makeup remover I have ever used and I totally love it. Read on to know why!

Avon Face and Eye Makeup Remover

Price: 299 for 75 ml, got it on discount for I don’t know how much.

Product Description:

This dual-phase formula gently and effectively removes all traces of face and eye makeup, especially ideal for waterproof and long-lasting face and eye products.

Ophthalmologist-tested. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearer.

Avon Face and Eye Makeup Remover

Ingredients:

Top phase- Cyclopentasiloxane, Isohexadecane, Phenoxyethanol, Peg-4, Fragrance, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate

Bottom phase- Water, Hexylene Glycol, Benzyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Chloride, Poloxamer 184, Dipotassium Phosphate, Phosphoric Acid, Cocamidopropylamine Oxide, Tetrasodium EDTA.

How To Use:

Shake well before use. Sweep over face and eye using cotton wool and rinse off thoroughly with water.

My Experience with Avon Face and Eye Makeup Remover:

This makeup remover comes in a transparent white bottle with a black flip open cap. The mouth of the bottle is neither too small nor too big, it’s just perfect for pouring out the quantity you want to pour out. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.

The product is fully transparent and is oily in texture as it is an oil based remover. The smell is very light and goes off within 5-6 seconds after using it. It removes everything from lipstick to eyeliner, mascara, foundation, eye shadows, etc. but can’t say about water proof makeup as I haven’t tried to remove it yet. Two swipes are needed to remove the makeup fully and it removes everything so well. It sting my eyes a bit but nothing much that I have to run here and there blindly. All in all it’s my favorite makeup remover and I love using it.

Swatches:

The first three swatches are of lipsticks, next two of eyeliners and next two of cream eye shadows.

I have sensitive eyes. Hence I don’t use any make up remover. I stick to my coconut oil :D

This is a great makeup remover! I’ve purchased this over n over again! The only down side to it is that it leaves your face extremely greasy!
