Avon Red Rose and Peach Hand and Body Lotion IngredientsMy Take on Avon Red Rose and Peach Hand and Body Lotion:

This body lotion comes in an opaque peach and red color bottle with a translucent flip top cap. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly, nothing impressive or fancy packaging as such!

Avon Red Rose and Peach Hand and Body Lotion ReviewThe body lotion smells of roses but artificial rose smell, not like how the real roses smells. I wish the smell would be more pleasing!

Coming to the moisturizing power of this body lotion, I apply this body lotion after taking bath in the morning on my damp skin, it takes few seconds or maybe a minute to absorb and then it gets fully absorbed, it feels a bit sticky for the first few minutes and then feels absolutely normal, nothing sticky or heavy. It is not heavily moisturizing so people with dry or extra dry skin may not like this but it would make a great body lotion for oily skin as it feels very light and non greasy. I as a dry skinned person have to re-apply this often throughout the day just to get enough moisturization in my skin and this can be a problem for some who doesn’t like re-applying body lotions, it keeps the skin moisturized for very little time and I know no one likes that few hours’ moisturization.

Avon Red Rose and Peach Hand and Body Lotion ReviewAvon Red Rose and Peach Hand and Body Lotion SwatchesPros of Avon Red Rose and Peach Hand and Body Lotion:

  • Inexpensive.
  • Travel friendly packaging.
  • Moisturizes well.
  • Does not feel greasy or heavy on skin.
  • Spreads and absorbs easily.

Cons of Avon Red Rose and Peach Hand and Body Lotion:

  • Artificial rose smell.
  • Feels sticky for first few minutes but then feels normal!
  • Not moisturizing enough for dry skin.
  • Has to re-apply it often, doesn’t keep the skin moisturized for a good amount of time.
  • Not easily available.

BML Rating: 3/5

It’s just a regular body lotion and would be best suited for normal to oily skin as it’s not moisturizing enough for dry skin and moreover it keeps the skin moisturized for only 1-2 hours and it has to be re-applied often which is a tricky part as many of us don’t like re-applying lotions!
