Shelf Life: 3 years.
Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera), Kulanjan (Alpinia Galangal), Neem (Azadirachta Indica), Ritha (Sapindus Mukorossi), Madhu (Honey), Coconut Oil, Himalyan Water Q.S.
My Experience with Biotique Bio Honey Cream Lightening Body Wash:
This body wash comes in a wide translucent white bottle with a green screw cap on top, the packaging is same as all other Biotique products. I wonder when will Biotique think of changing their product’s packaging and come up with something unique and different! The mouth of the bottle is quite wide and I have to control on how much quantity gets out by pressing the bottle slowly, if I press it too hard, more than the required amount comes out. The packaging is a big disappointment and I really wish it would be something better than this useless pressing bottles with wide open mouth!
This body wash does have a mild faint smell which I can’t even smell and I personally like pleasant smelling body washes. It is a clear gel like liquid and is runny in consistency which gets wasted a lot!
I usually take out a small amount on my loofah to work up that first and it lathers pretty well making a good foam, it lathers well even if used with hands but with that you may need a little extra amount then you will need on loofah.I get quite attracted to anything that says lightening or brightening the skin especially the products for body so that I can get rid of any tan I have on my body and my skin stays brighter. It’s not that I believe that skin lightening products will make my skin lighter than my skin tone but I believe they will prevent me from further tan and removing the tan or dullness if I use lightening products daily. While I have had some good experience with lightening products like the Nature’s Essence whitening body lotion, still I feel some brands shouldn’t name their products as whitening or brightening as they don’t work at all in lightening the skin like this body wash. Even with using it consistently for more than 20 days, I didn’t see any lightening of my skin nor does it give any instant brightness :( It makes my skin dry, itna dry that I can’t stay without moisturizing my skin immediately if I’m taking bath with this body wash. I like moisturizing body washes more as they don’t (at least) make my skin dry if they doesn’t brighten or lighten!
The good thing about this body wash is that it contains all natural ingredients and is 100% soap free but what’s the use of being soap free if it leaves my skin feeling dry and doesn’t leave any moisturizing veil on it.
- Lathers well.
- Rinses off easily.
- All natural ingredients.
- Soap free.
- Leaves skin clean.
- May be good for oily skin as it leaves my skin dry.
Cons of Biotique Bio Honey Cream Lightening Body Wash:
- Boring and clumpsy packaging!
- I have not seen any lightening of my skin even after using it regularly for more than 20 days.
- Dries out my skin.
- Does not have any fragrance!
BML Rating: 3/5
Do I Recommend Biotique Bio Honey Cream Lightening Body Wash:
If you have oily skin on your body, you can give it a try as it’s drying for my dry skin and if you are expecting any lightening or whitening from this body wash then I certainly don’t recommend this to you!
A Hit or Miss for Me: Miss! as it does not lighten and leaves my skin feeling dry but you can go ahead and give it a try if you are looking for something natural and organic. I personally like seeing results than using natural organic products which doesn’t do anything!
