My Experience with Loreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Cellular Shampoo:

I was recommended Loreal Professionnel Liss Ultime Oil Incell Shampoo by my stylist after I got my rebonding done in 2013 but then I thought to try out this shampoo as it’s meant for damaged hair and I had damaged my hair enough through rebonding :p So after using one bottle of Liss Ultime shampoo and hair mask, I bought this shampoo and started using it religiously. I could see it performing better than the Oil Incell Shampoo and working better on my newly rebonded hair. Then I continued using this shampoo but then I started trying out all various sorts of shampoos in the market and completely ignored my chemically treated hair. It is now I’m getting conscious of my hair again and trying to include products meant for damaged/dry hair since my hair has got really damaged now and are in their worst condition ever. So this would be my second bottle of this shampoo after the one I finished using months ago on my newly rebonded hair.

The shampoo has a medium consistency and it lathers well, it leaves hair pretty clean in 1-2 wash and leaves my hair soft and quite manageable even if I use it without a conditioner and if paired with the mask from this range, it works even better and makes hair soft, shiny and frizz free. As for the damaging repair part, I don’t really think it would work much on damaged hair since damaged hair needs extra conditioning and moisture which it mightnot be able to add. It would work really great for dry hair and hair that has been not chemically treated. This shampoo also adds a bit of shine to my hair so I love it but in the long run, it didn’t do anything to repair my damaged hair.Loreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Cellular ShampooLoreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Cellular Shampoo Swatch

  1. most of the loreal professional shampoos are really nice. As I am going through no parabens and sulphate phase now, I am not trying other shampoos but I do crave for the fragrance and lather what these shampoos create :P I can give this a try as my ends are really dry and I never treated my hair chemically. nice review arzoo :)

  2. nice and honest reviews…. i’ve tried this shampoo and it works okay but spending 500 bucks on something that doesnt do what it says is a waste of money

  3. I have always been a little hesistant about using sulfates on my hair. But I do use them at times. I think will give this a shot because if this does not dry out the hair too much, it might be good for me.
