My Experience with Maybelline Clear Glow All In One Fairness Compact Powder:

Maybelline Clear Glow powder comes in a light pink rectangular pan with two compartments built side by side, one for the powder and the other for the sponge. I like the fact that it comes with a mirror and a sponge applicator which makes it a travel friendly product! The sponge is quite good I must say! It really gives smooth and even coverage. It doesn’t get damaged or breaks even after washing, I’m saying this because I have seen sponges getting damaged after washing them. I feel this sponge gives better application of the compact than the powder brush so I usually apply it with this sponge. I lightly press the sponge on my face with a tiny amount of powder on it and it seems to give great even finish.Maybelline Clear Glow All In One Fairness Compact PowderMaybelline Clear Glow All In One Fairness Compact PowderThe powder has a smooth and silky texture and it doesn’t cake up on my dry skin. I feel it gives smooth and even coverage. The coverage is a bit more than sheer and I really love the fact how it brightens my face (say make it fair) and makes it matte. The staying power of this compact is around 3-4 hours. There are total 5 shades available in this compact and my shade is 02 n*de beige which suits my NC 35 skin tone perfectly. I generally like to use one shade lighter compact than my skin tone and that kind of balances my whole look and make me look fresh and vibrant. And this is what this compact does, it brightens my face and makes it look a shade light after I have done with all my base makeup. This is one affordable compact you must all give a try once, I think it’s good enough for all skin types and the bonus is that it comes with SPF 26 and PA++ protection, isn’t that incredible? Now you gotta try it out!!Maybelline Clear Glow All In One Fairness Compact Powder ReviewPros of Maybelline Clear Glow All In One Fairness Compact Powder:

  • Really cute and convenient packaging.
  • Comes with an in-built mirror and a sponge applicator.
  • The sponge gives really good application!
  • So affordable!
  • Has SPF 26 and PA++, now that’s one commendable thing.
  • Gives good coverage.
  • Brightens my face instantly by dabbing it just lightly.
  • Lasts for 3-4 hours.
  • Gives a matte look yet without being dry.
  • Doesn’t cake up.
  • Smooth texture.
  • Doesn’t break me out.
  • Has a light weight texture.
  • Evens out the complexion.

Cons of Maybelline Clear Glow All In One Fairness Compact Powder:

  • I think dark-skinned beauties would find it difficult to select their shade since only lighter shades are available in this range.
  • Oily skin will need frequent touch ups.

Def pick it up Vaishu, I’m sure you’ll love it, see I always read your mind and bring out product reviews that you wanted to know about :P To select your shade, swatch the powder in the store itself or ask the SA to help you in selecting your shade, choose the one that blends perfectly with your skin tone.

Nice post :-) .I have bought this last month and I use it day time. It’s good for my dry skin :-).
Arzoo can you also suggest any compact without SPF so I can use it in evenings. Beacuse 1 sales girl told me that any SPF product should be used before sunset, if used in evenings or night time occassions , the contant of the SPF makes skin dark. SPF is only to be used to get protection from sun and rays. SPF product should be used during day only.
So Now I have started making a list “day time product list” and “eve/night time product list”. I need your help :-)

I guess Streetwear has come up with decently priced and quality compacts without SPF, do try them out, I have two of them, will be reviewing them soon and the Rimmel one is also without SPF but I think that won’t work much for your dry skin in winters so lemme search for more good compacts without SPF and come back with a review for you :)

I use it and I love it. I am a no makeup giel, just kajal and suncreen for me. But when i feel like doing something, i just use this compact and this makes me look fair and beautiful. I have super oily skin and it stays on me for 3 hours after which it needs touch ups. It even covers pores to an extent which is a boon for oily skinned beauties. Give it a try! :-* :-* 8-) :kissed: :inlove:
