Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover Review and Demo

Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover and Demo
Hi Girls,

Today I would be reviewing Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover. I got this few weeks back in my haul and I have been using it since then to remove my eye and lip makeup. So, I’m ready to review it now.Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover ReviewPrice: Rs. 225 for 70 ml.

Shelf Life: 36 months.

Product Claims:

Efficient and Easy: This formula instantly removes all eye and lip makeup, even waterproof and non-transfer

Gentle: Formulated for sensitive eyes, it is especially very gentle for the delicate skin around the eyes

Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover ReviewIngredients:

Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Isohexadecane, Isopropyl Palmitate, Panthenol, Poloxamer 184, Dipotassium Phospate, Potassium Phospate, Green 6, Sodium Chloride, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide.

My Take on Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover:

Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover comes in a cute little transparent plastic bottle with a screw cap which has a dropper with a nozzle to drop just the right amount of the remover. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly and the bottle will easily fit in your bag without reserving much space.

Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover ReviewThis remover is a mixture of two liquids, the liquid on top is kind of blue in color and on the bottom is a transparent water like liquid. You have to shake the bottle well every time before using it so that the liquids dissolve well. Shaking the bottle is not really a pain, or is it? It may be for you if you are lazy :P For me shaking the bottle is not really a pain, I shake the bottle every time before using it, in fact I have a habit of shaking every liquid product I own, that makes sure that the ingredients dissolve better rather than just using the liquid products without shaking them leaving the active ingredients on the surface and not on your face each time using your liquid products which is the reason you may not be seeing any result from your liquid products!

Okay, coming back to this remover, I’ll tell you one trick to remove your eye makeup gently and easily. Take a cotton swab or a cotton ball, dip it in the remover or drop the remover on the cotton and place it over your eyes for like 3-4 seconds, press it and wipe the area very gently 3-4 times. If the need feels, do this process again with other cotton ball. This method will remover your eye makeup gently and efficiently without exerting any pressure on your socket ball or on your eyes.

I take out this remover on a cotton ball and wipe the eye area gently like said above and it removes makeup quite nicely even the waterproof one though I need to go over multiple times to remove every trace of waterproof makeup. This makeup remover does not burn the eyes even if it gets into the eyes, it never burns them so it’s safe enough to be used by everyone. If you have sensitive eyes and every remover has been a failure for your, do try this out.

It leaves the eye area nourished and moisturized as it is an oil based remover. It removes lipsticks quite nicely though takes few extra swipes for Maybelline super stay lipsticks which are a bit hard to remove. It feels tacky and yucky if it gets into mouth so I don’t really like using this to remove my lip makeup as it gets in my mouth most of the time. The other drawback is that it is just an eye and lip makeup remover so a separate makeup remover has to be used for face which makes makeup removing task a bit more consuming unless if you like removing face makeup with cleanser or face wash.

Demo:

  2. this is my HG eye and lip makeup remover.. I have finished hundreds of bottles of this… :) lovely review babe :* and I agree it tastes horrible if it tends to seep in through the lips.. *eeeeks*

  3. This sounds excellent. I have super sensitive skin and I stay away from makeup removers in general. Also the ingredient list shows no paraben’s, which is great. Gonna give this a try.

  4. This is my favourite inexpensive oil based makeup remover…it is so gentle and nice for the skin. I even clean my face makeup with this not just eye makeup and then i wash my face with a good cleanser and follow by putting on a good toner to ensure no residue is left….. :)

  5. I have been using this and I agree to ur review like 99.99%… it is awesome eye makeup remover and never ever stings my eye so I don’t think I am gona give it up ever!!

    1. Do try it next and I’m trying the Lakme one next as I like using all in one removers and not the ones particularly meant for eyes and lips.
