Nature’s Essence Sunscreen Lotion SPF 40 Review

Hello Prettiest!!

You all must know my love for sunscreen. I am like a sunscreen addict, I can’t leave without a sunscreen, it’s that important for me. So today’s review is about a sunscreen which is just a small part of my sunscreen collection. It’s really a great and affordable sunscreen. There’s a freebie face wash along with this :D so this makes it really great. I will review the face wash in my next post which is equally good as is the sunscreen. Move on to the review to know how it worked for me.. :P

My Experience Nature’s Essence Sunscreen Lotion SPF 40:

Well, I have tried many sunscreens from Nature’s Essence and I am really satisfied by their claims. Both the products comes in a yellow and green color box which is cute as it matches the sunscreen and face wash color. The sunscreen comes in a tube packaging with a flip top cap, it’s packaging is sturdy and travel friendly. It effectively moisturizes the skin and does not feel sticky or greasy. It doesn’t leave any white cast on skin like most sunscreens do and gets absorbed quickly without rubbing much. The fragrance is somewhat herbal and is pleasant to the nose, it won’t irritate sensitive nose. It gives a glow to my skin and brightens it as well. I feel it is apt for all skin types as mentioned on the product because my skin type is dry and it is a matte type sunscreen and if it does not dry out my skin further then it’s really great moreover oily skin girls will love it for the matte look it imparts.

Pros: :)

  • Does not feel greasy on application.
  • Immediately gets absorbed without rubbing much.
  • Will not make face oily even after 2-3 hours.
  • Dirt cheap, I mean Rs. 120 for a sunscreen and a face wash, commendable. ;)
  • Easily available.
  • Travel friendly tube.
  • Makes skin look brighter.
  • Comes with natural ingredients.
  • It is apt for both dry skin as well as oily skin.
  • Moisturizes the skin without making it oily unlike other sunscreens.
  • Nice herbal fragrance.
  • Does not break out.
  • Not tested on animals.
  • SPF 40 definitely prevents me from sunburn and sun tan.

Cons: :(

  • Full ingredient list missing.
  • Does not protect against UVA rays i.e it does not have PA++.
  • It’s not waterproof, I think no sunscreen is waterproof, it’s just false claim.

Final Verdict:

This is really a great and affordable sunscreen with SPF 40 which you can apply while going out in the sun. I’d say everyone to give it a try once, it’s much better than most expensive sunscreens that claims to be oil-free and still makes the skin look oily and leaves a white cast behind. It is perfect for all skin types, it moisturizes the skin without feeling oily or sticky.

Rating: 4/5 -1 for not mentioning the complete ingredients and no PA++.

Me too hate it, don’t know what they might have used in it, no sunscreen can be made with 4-5 ingredients and on the other end I think if they have used chemicals also, it doesn’t matter coz almost all the products are now loaded with chemicals, do give it a try once :D
