Hi Everyone!!

I recently went to shop some stuff for me where I incidentally noticed one healthy food store which had almost all the healthy stuff I needed. I just jumped into that store and bought the stuff I think I needed. So I’ll be showing you what did I shop from that store.

Healthy Grocery Shopping ListOlive Oil:

I’m the only one in my house who can eat food cooked in olive oil and no other member of my house likes the taste of olive oil in their food, so whenever I get time to cook food for me, I make sure I use olive oil for cooking or else my mom uses mustard oil or clarified butter (ghee) for cooking meals. All the three are beneficial for health but as my diet mostly lacks olive oil so I try to incorporate it in my diet as much as I can.

Healthy Grocery Shopping ListGreen Tea:

I don’t like drinking green tea made from tea bags and I most likely prefer green tea leaves. But since I don’t usually get green tea leaves here, I thought to give this a try as it’s flavoured and may be it has a better taste. :-/

Healthy Grocery Shopping ListPeanut Butter:

You know what, I’ll tell you one secret, when I was small and used to study in hostel, we used to get peanut butter and brown bread every Saturday for our supper, I used to hate peanut butter so much then that I always used to skip my food on Saturday but as I grew old and started developing healthy habits in me, I realized how peanut butter is so healthy for us and our skin (mostly skin) and now I love eating peanut butter in my breakfast. I have tried many Indian brands of peanut butter and I don’t know why I always end up getting this one for me. I love the taste of this peanut butter.

Peanut ButterOregano:

Oregano is a very healthy spice and I like to add it in tofu, dried sabzi, pasta, etc. Oregano leaves are a good source of manganese, iron and Vitamin A. Oregano is known to relieve menstrual cramps, just chew a few leaves thrice a day to seek relief from menstrual cramps.

Healthy Grocery Shopping ListBrown Rice:

Brown rice is a part of my daily meal and I love eating them. Brown rice are much more nutritious than white rice and by switching to brown rice, you can improve your health in many ways. Brown rice contains a wide array of essential nutrients such as B vitamins, phosphorus, selenium, manganese, potassium and magnesium. Brown rice is a whole grain and is also a very good source of dietary fibre.
