My Experience with Lakme CC Cream:

Lakme CC cream comes in a pink cover which is really cute and the color of the tube is beige same as is the product’s color. There are two shades available as I already mentioned, bronze for darker skin tones and beige for lighter skin tones. I picked the shade beige for my skin tone. It matches my skin tone and my mumma’s skin tone perfectly. I can’t make out its smell but it’s good and fades off after 5-6 minutes or less. This cream is a little drying for my dry face but only a bit not much and I apply it over my Lakme moisturizer because this is what I currently have or over my Nivea sunscreen as it is a bit oily and moisturizes my face perfectly. Then goes this CC cream on top which blends easily with fingers and gives me a perfect matte look. I can’t wear it without any moisturizing product under it as it dries my face.

Lakme CC Cream

It keeps skin fresh and flawless for really long like for 6-7 hours. It will not cover stubborn acne marks so you will need a concealer to cover them. I always do my mumma’s makeup on Karwa chauth and so I used this cream on her face two days before Karwa chauth to know how it goes on her skin and will it give her allergies or not as her face is really sensitive and she is allergic to all makeup products and even skin care products. My mom felt it to be very nice and perfect for her face, and it didn’t give any sort of allergy on her face, so that’s a plus point.

Lakme CC Cream

Pros: :)

  • Sturdy and travel friendly packaging.
  • Affordable, is not that expensive.
  • Contains SPF 20.
  • Comes in two shades unlike most BB creams which are available only in one shade.
  • Perfect dewy finish.
  • Covers minor blemishes and scars.
  • Blends easily.
  • Staying power is really great. It stays on for 6-7 hours.
  • Easily available.
  • Does not break out or give any sort of allergy.

Cons: :(

  • Dries out the skin, I have to use a moisturizer under it or else it makes me look like dracula  :reallypissed: Joking not that dangerous but a little cakey.
  • Some may need more shades to match their skin tone so there should be more than two shades.

Rating: 4.6/5

Final verdict:

I think it’s a great cream if you want medium coverage, it’ll work great for oily skin as it’s a little drying so I think it’ll control the shine of oily skinned girls and for dry skinned girls, they will need a moisturizer to blend it properly. Overall I loved this cream and it’s perfect for days when you don’t need much coverage and want something to go on your skin flawlessly without much efforts in blending.
