This is my first guest post and I’m happy it was for my dearest friend Arzoo’s blog. I’m reviewing the recently launched Lakme Nine to Five lip liner in the shade Brick rose. This is my first lip liner and it turned out to be a great buy!
WHAT LAKME CLAIMS:
“Nine to five lip liners has long lasting formula, stays all day through your work. The satiny texture makes is super gliding over lips. Gives the perfect pout with high dimensional finish. Shades are perfect for work and easy to blend. Has great color payoff”
It comes 6 shades:
- Brick rose
- Beige pink
- Boardroom brown
- Pink blush
- Red alert
- Fine Wine
APPLICATION:
Always work from the center of lips to outer to get precise finish.
PRICE: INR 375 for 1.14g

MY TAKE ON LAKME NINE TO FIVE LIP LINER BRICK ROSE:
Packaging: It comes in a rose gold pencil with a plastic cap. It’s not twistable which may lead to loss of product when sharpened. The bottom is in respective shade which makes it easy to identify.
Shade: Brick Rose is a neutral brown shade. It gives a natural finish when lips are lined. Can be used as a lipstick too for a matte look and along with gloss for a shiny glossy look. Easily goes with everyday look. I think such neutral brown liner blends with all lip shades. Suits most skin tones.
Texture: It has smooth and creamy texture. It sets as a matte finish but not too powdery. No drying of lips. It glides smoothly without tugging the lips. Easy to apply with natural contour of lips.
Pigmentation: Amazing pigmentation. With one swipe and it’s so intense and exact delivery of color. Gives an opaque look.
Staying power: It lasts up to 4 to 5 hours. It’s not waterproof as it says.

FINAL VERDICT:
Lakme Nine to Five lip liners are worth the pay! It’s super creamy blendable and smooth. Pigmentation stands out. Brick rose suits most skin tones and gives easy everyday look. I totally recommend this product.
