Lakme Skin Gloss Winter Intense Moisturizer Review
One of my reader mailed me asking for suggestion for a good moisturizer for dry skin. Since then I’ve been trying all sorts of moisturizers so that I can come up with a review on a best moisturizer for dry skin. Well, this moisturizer is definitely a hit for dry skin but may not work well for oily skin. It’s none other than the newly launched Lakme Skin Gloss Moisturizer!

My Take on Lakme Skin Gloss Winter Intense Moisturizer:

I’m always on the look out for different moisturizers and every time I spot a new one, I can’t resist myself from picking it up. As soon as I saw this moisturizer in a cosmetic aisle, I went ahead to pick it up! This moisturizer comes in a same Lakme bottle as its other moisturizers with a slight curvy shape and a flip top cap. The fragrance is typical Lakme smell and is mild and pleasant.

The first issue I face with this moisturizer is that it takes hell lotta time to come out, I feel it gets jammed like coconut oil, I keep on pressing the bottle and after putting all my pressure, it comes out *sweat* Talking about its consistency, it’s neither runny nor too thick but a perfect consistency a moisturizer should have.

MoisturizerComing to its results, I apply this moisturizer after cleansing and toning and my skin feels supple and hydrated, it keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day. I don’t feel the need to moisturize my skin (dry) again and again and I’m good after moisturizing once with this. As far as I have seen, it didn’t break me out but it feels a bit heavy on application which totally is a con for oily skin and I think it’s not meant for oily skin.

As I’m out of my night cream, I’m using this moisturizer at night and it gives a good glow to my face when I wake up in the morning, my face feels soft and supple though it has never shown this much kindness to me (my face). [the_ad id=”9707″]

Pros:

  • Pleasant smell.
  • Moisturizes really well.
  • Skin feels soft throughout the day.
  • No need of reapplication.
  • My skin glows in the morning when I use it at night.
  • Gets absorbed easily.
  • Didn’t break me out.
  • Travel friendly packaging.

Cons:

  • May not suit oily skin.
  • Takes time to come out, reacts like coconut oil sometimes.
  • Can’t say about its effectiveness as primer, as primer has its own role and a moisturizer its own and a moisturizer can’t keep the makeup tact for long, it can only keep the skin moisturized.

Do I Recommend Lakme Skin Gloss Moisturizer:
